    As a Part of curriculum, for 1st year BAMS students we conducted white coat ceremony and Fresher's
    day in AAMC & PGC Davangere on 11/07/2026 with great enthusiasm to welcome the newly admitted
    students and formally induct them into the noble profession of health care.
    The white coat ceremony and Fresher's day function was commence by doing Dhanwantari Pooja,
    followed by Prayer song by the students. The program was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest
    Dr.Surendranath. P.Nishanimut, Dr.Umesh Hiremath, Dr.Mruthyunjay.N. Hiremath, Dr.Muktha .M.H,
    Dr.Gnaneshwar .L.M.The function was inaugurated by watering the plants from the Guest, followed by
    an invocation and welcome address by Aliya taj & Tanushree.
    The Distribution of white coat was done by the chief Guests, along with the Oath taking ceremony
    conducted by Dr.Muktha .M.H. Principal AAMC by giving the values of professionalism, ethical practice
    and selfless service to the students.
    The chief guest addresses the gathering and congratulated the student for new beginning of Ayurveda.
    Followed by Guest felicitation, along with the Presidential Speech by Dr.M.N.Hiremath.
    The events concluded with the Vote of thanks given by Danamma, succeeded by Group photo of guest,
    staff and students, and then followed by the Lunch.
    In this function around 36 teaching staff, around 92 Non-teaching staff, 350 U.G & P.G students were
    participated and made the function grand success. After the lunch, the program was continued by
    cultural performance interactive games. These activities helped the fresher’s build confidence, foster
    friendship and feel connected to the institution.
